As much as we love camping, it has its drawbacks, one of which is the ability to take a nice shower. So, we love our Max Shower from Flextail. This little pump allows us to pump water from a bucket on the ground, without having to find a place to hang a shower bag. Unfortunately, with this setup, you’ll either have to find a way to transport water or find water at camp. So, we voiced our concerns to Flextail, and lo and behold, they came out with the Tiny Shower Bag!! It’s like the Max Shower and the Shower Bag have a baby! You’ll have the capability of transporting water like a regular shower bag, but the Flextail Tiny Shower Bag has a pump built in, so you can pump water from the bag on ground level! How awesome is that?? We have already put the Tiny Shower Bag to use many times, and here is our review of how we like it!

As with all Flextail products, the Tiny Shower Bag’s build quality is really good. The plastic on the bag is nice and thick. They did a great job building the pump directly into the bag, and we also love the redesigned shower head.
The new Tiny Shower Bag goes for $69, which isn’t a bad deal when you consider that the Max shower and bucket add up to right around $85.
All Flextail products use a USB-C Charging port. It also charge decently fast.
The pump is nearly silent, so you don’t have to worry about disturbing camp with a lat night shower.
The shower head on the Flextail Tiny Shower Bag has smaller holes than the ones on the Max Shower. This helps you conserve water. You might think this means a loss of pressure, but that is not the case. This tiny pump still cranks out a decent amount of pressure! The shower head also has a built-in hook which makes it easy to hang up in a shower tent, tree or on your car.
The shower comes with a 7.2 ft hose. This is more than enough length to use the shower, whether is it hung up or on the ground.
After filling the bag, it is easy as snapping on the hose that only has one connector and you are good to go!
The shower bag can hold a ton of water! 5 gallons or 20 L to be exact. When it’s full, it weighs up to 45 lbs. I know, quite heavy. This is the same as most regular shower bags. With a regular shower bag, we have to find a sturdy place to hang it. However, with the Flextail Tiny Shower Bag, we can just leave it on the ground and turn on the pump.
Flextail Tiny Shower Bag has 2 different modes, low and high flow. This way, you can conserve water if you need to, or adjust it to full blast if you can afford to spare your water.
The pump has 2 different modes. In the lower flow mode it will run for 70 minutes, and in the higher flow mode it will run for 35 minutes. In all honesty, we have always run ours in low flow more and found that it has plenty of pressure.
The front of the pump also has an on/off switch that releases water without having to use battery power. This switch is a little firm when you first get the bag, but it breaks in with use.
In addition to that On/Off switch, Flextail will soon release a faucet that snaps right on to the spout. This will make for a nice little source of running water around camp. They are also going to be coming out with a remote. We don’t have a remote yet, so we aren’t sure how exactly it works. However, this could be useful if the shower bag is up high or outside your shower tent.
The Tiny Shower Bag also comes with a decal that serves as a thermometer. Even though the bag itself can’t heat water, you can at least tell how warm or cold your shower is going to be.
If you require a hot shower, You can always heat up your water and pour it into the bag. The shower bag can withstand water up to 140 degrees Fahrenheit
We had our shower on a week-long camping trip, and we didn’t need to recharge it. Keep in mind, we weren’t taking long luxurious showers, but it came through like a champ! The smaller holes on the shower head feel like you are getting a good amount of pressure without wasting too much water. It was also nice being able to get water out of it to wash our hands and dishes without wasting power.
Besides using it for showers, we also found ourselves using the Flextail Tiny Shower Bag on other things. We brought the Tiny Shower Bag to the beach, and on our kayak days, to wash the sand off our feet and gear. It was also useful on our biking trip when the trails got muddy and we needed to do a quick wash on our bikes.
Congratulations Flextail, you have done it again! We cant wait to see what wild innovations you come up with next! What do you think? Is the Tiny Shower bag going to be joining you on your camping trips this summer? Let us know!
